Alternate Hydro Methods (in collaboration with J. Bell, C. Rendleman, M. Day at LBL)

• It is likely that methods designed to deal with low speed flows are more appropriate to XRB simulations.

• Recent work in collaboration with the CCSE group at LBL has been done on extending low Mach number combustion methods to astrophysical flames for SN Ia (Bell et al. 2003, JCP, submitted).
