Iris Positioning Motor
- Iris positioning motors are mounted diagonally with respect to the
NSEW axes of the AO bench
- Plate scale is 0.429 mm/arcsec
- Motor is "high speed" 1686 counts/mm
- The Motors/Field_Steer/Iris_Position GUI controls these motors along
NS an EW axes for convenience
- Set Zero at the center line of the wfs optics

Iris Closing Motor
- This motor opens and closes the wavefront sensor iris
- Negative counts close the iris, Positive counts open the iris
- 0 counts is fully closed: a 2 mm diameter hole
- Approx. 5000 counts/mm diameter openning
- 34,176 counts is upper limit (9 mm diameter openning)
- Plate scale is 0.429 mm/arcsec
