On the topic of publishing earth orientation data, I sure would
like to see the IERS move the publications of Bulletins A thru D
into the 21st century. The current data come as text for their
primary format.
I would much rather see the master format be XML. The current forms
of the bulletins could readily be produced from the XML through a
style transformation.
When the standard settles down a bit, and the IETF is ready for the
key management, the authenticity could be assured by applying RFC 3275
methods to add digital signatures to the data content.
