Optical Design Work Needed

• Explore "free" parameters more carefully to optimize image quality across LRIS FOV (centered 7 armin off-axis).
• Explore internal reflections.
• Calibrate "private software" against ZEMAX models. (sanity check)
• Modifications/extensions to "private software".
• Verify optical tolerances.
• Characterize expected performance at focal surface of telescope
• Verify that distortions caused by ADC are acceptible ( initial results indicate this is not a problem)
• Obtain more accurate transmission values for fused silica.
• We do not plan to model end-to-end optical performance at LRIS focal plane. Should we? Does an adequate optical model of LRIS exist?
