2.1 ktcl tutorial

2.1.5 Command editing

ktcl is linked with the GNU readline library which means that all the "normal" command editing keys work, including all the arrow keys (which is all that most people will use) and many EMACS editing keys (I don't know many of these, but do use Ctrl-A to go to the beginning of the line and Ctrl-E to go to the end of the line).

Tcl in any case, like most shells, supports ";" as a command separator character, so multiple commands can be written on a single line and then recalled and edited using the arrow keys.
