Some info is preserved per exposure, some is logged all night, some is preserved per night at start time, some might be preserved per run.
These data may come from many sources, but they can all be accomodated in one schema for later correlation. They are all understood here to be logged or recorded in a central online database.
Data captured per frame go into ascii FITS tables or image headers which accompany the astronomer home at the end of the run. Some generic calibration data also remain on the Mountain, provided by observers or DEIMOS support staff, and are publicly available from the database via WWW and other means. Slitmask data might remain private for some period of time due to confidentiality of observing program, but are archived on the Mountain. Environment telemetry logs would always be publicly available. Some environmental meta-data would be included in FITS tables which accompany the astronomer home.
For any data which the observer considers confidential, some statute of limitations should be settable by the observer, a date after which the data become public.
